Hartel Shipping & Chartering B.V. was founded December 1990 by John Hartman and John Brobbel with both having more than 20 years of experience in chartering business.
Since January 2008 Mr John Hartman is enjoying his early retirement and the company is now fully owned by Mr John Brobbel.
Hartel started purely as brokering company, then after approximately
5 years it was noticed that there was a need of vessels between Continent
and
East Mediterranean, able to handle breakbulk and especially
Project Material.
This was the beginning of Hartel’s service between Continent
and
E.Med/Black Sea v.v.. At present Hartel controlls 7 ships permanently
on long term Time Charter, carrying
Project Materials for major engineering companies and project
forwarders.
Hartel has built up a reliable reputation amongst ship owners,
cargo owners and forwarders, same has been achieved by excellent
performance, trust and honesty.
Therefore we value long term business relationships with our
contractual partners providing first class and timely performance
on each shipment.
